**Storage of hay in the barn is not a safety hazard due to the barn having a "zero" fire rating! The shell of the barn is constructed of steel and the walls are made of plywood covered by metal sheets. Therefore, if a fire starts, it cannot move from one area to another. Fly System: We now have an automatic fly spray system throughout the barn to keep the horses comfortable and healthy. | Riding Accommodations:
Outdoor Arena: There is a large outdoor, fenced arena with 6 large lights and lots of jumps, including a coop, roll top, gate, barrels, and planks. The arena is surrounded by 2 rail PVC fencing. Dressage Arena: The new Dressage Arena is now in use. Through the next few years we will continue to add more sand and footing. It takes several years for a new arena's footing to be set for all weather riding. For now we will refrain from using the Dressage Arena directly after bad weather but the Large arena is always available. Cross Country Course: We also have a small cross country course, with many jumps including oxers, banks, gates, ditches, brush jump, tire jumps, and many jumps made out of large logs. Fencing: The farm has 3 rail PVC fencing separating the fields and high tinsel wire/natural borders around the property. The fields are also equipped with electrified rope along the top rail of the PVC fence in order to keep the horses from injuring themselves and/or horses in neighboring pastures. We also currently have a "temporary fence" consisting of 4-5 strands of electrified rope separating the new dressage arena and the big pasture. We will soon replace this with permanent PVC fencing. |
